(ap) — authorities on thursday announced the takedown of a southern california street gang that included 180 arrests and the seizure. Webthe indictment, which was unsealed this morning, targets members and associates of the west side verdugo gang, who are charged with trafficking. Webthe verdugo gangsters consists of three latino subsets called the westside verdugo, eastside verdugo, and the southside verdugo, operating in different regions of san. Websan bernardino police last year began investigating illegal firearms sales involving westside verdugo, a latino street gang rooted in the city for roughly 70 years.
